Last Beam Lowered at Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel 2-21-12

The final steel beam is raised and lowered into place for the new hotel tower at Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel in Salamanca, NY. This “Topping Off Ceremony” took place the morning of Tuesday, February 21, 2012. It took just two months for construction workers to erect the steel beams, thanks to an unseasonably warm winter in Western New York’s Southern Tier region. When complete, the $53 million project will add another 200 rooms to the AAA Four Diamond Award-winning hotel — effectively doubling its capacity. Officials expect the new tower to open in the winter of 2013.
